I tend to wait too long in between my blogs. I'm sorry for that. I could say I have alot going on, but you might just think that is nothing but an excuse. So I will offer you no excuse for my procrastination on updating you with my life.
Just recently, a little over a week ago, my husband was laid off from his job. Luckily, I started working at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA about a month ago so at least as of right now we still have somewhat of an income coming in. Alyssa's last day of kindergarten was Friday. It was bittersweet.... my baby is growing up! She will be in first grade in a few months and it's just so weird. It seems like just yesterday she was learning to walk. Marley Moo is 10 months old now... Wow!! She is another one that is growing too fast. She learns new things everyday and is the sweetest baby ever. She's the best baby any parent could hope for.
Both of my children are miracles that continue to happen everyday. If it weren't for them, I'd be completely lost.
Daniel, my husband, is another miracle. I believe when God created Daniel, Alyssa, and Marley that he added an extra something special to them. And I was just the one person lucky enough to become the wife and mother to them.
Times are hard right now for us. All we have are our prayers. Our dreams. Our love for one another. Our faith that God will make everything ok. I know we are not the only family in America going through this right now and I can definitely empathize with the ones that are.
On another note, I start back to school in September to finally finish up my nursing degree. I'm extremely excited and impatient. I can't wait to get out there in the field of nursing and do what my passion is for the rest of my life. Hopefully Daniel can find a job that he will enjoy and love doing also. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
