Full Moon.... New Moon

So I'm a Twilight freak. Shoot me. You have to give it to Stephanie Meyer, though, she definitely hit a gold mine. The Twilight series is awesome. The books really capture you and keep you reading until you feel like your eyeballs are about to explode. I personally read all 4 books within a month, and this was right after having Marley. So I was busy with a baby and a book.

Needless to say, I bought the movie on dvd the morning it came out. I was probably one of the first people in Jesup, Georgia to buy it! I've watched to movie several times and was highly pleased that it stayed in line with the book. I hate it when movies go off the deep end because they don't do anything by the book. But I am super ready for New Moon to come out on November 2oth. I'm actually going to take a personal day off from work to go see it that night. That's how important and obsessed this Twilight thing is to me. I know, go ahead, laugh. But it's just that daggum good!

I was reading something on the internet earlier about why Stephanie Meyer named the book New Moon. She explained that a "New Moon" is the opposite of a "Full Moon", that when the moon is in the new moon phase, the sun is directly behind it and it makes the moon appear to be very dark. This relates to the book because in this book, it is the darkest time in Bella's life. Losing Edward in the beginning and then saving him from the Volturi. I can completely understand now why she chose to name it "New Moon".

And for those of you who can't get enough of the Twilight series, watch out for Midnight Sun. There was a controversy surrounding this book due to the fact that someone actually stole the written material of Midnight Sun and posted via internet. Therefore, Stephanie Meyer decided not to continue on the book or publish it. But I've looked on her website recently and seems she might have changed her mind. The book would be written in Edwards point of view starting the day Bella came into his life. If you want to get a feel for what it's going to be like, go to Stephanie Meyer's website and you can read the first chapter. I do hope she publishes it, I'm already looking for it on shelves.....

And as another Twilight fan would say.... if you want a playlist to listen too while reading the books, you can get that at Stephanie Meyer's website also.

I know, I'm a complete dork. But hey, being a vampire isn't easy........
